POKÉMON ANIME VERSION v1.2.2 (English) - Ash's Kanto journey from Pokémon Season 1 (Indigo League) - TekCafe.vn
  - NEW: a Kanto rebuilt to match the anime (Pallet Town with Prof. Oak's windmill, Gringey City, Porta Vista,
Maiden's Peak, Dark City, the Laramie Ranch, Grampa Canyon, Blastoise's turtle-shell island…); almost every
episode from 1 to 82 is a playable cutscene, plus Pokémon: The First Movie (Mewtwo).
  - Every story battle has a win branch and a lose branch: lose and you wake up at the Pokémon Center,
come back for new dialogue and a rematch.
  - HM01-HM07 and the HM tools (Axe, Raft, Pickaxe, Bicycle) are all obtainable in Kanto.
  - v1.2.2 (bug-fix update): fixed getting stuck in the Underground Path below Gringey City and the crash when entering
Nastina's house in Porta Vista; fixed the Cycling Road gate blocking you even with a Bicycle; restored the two restaurants
on the Porta Vista pier and the Sunny Town Pokémon Center (you used to be pushed straight back out); fixed wrong item names
in the Bag; fixed story NPCs appearing/disappearing after beating some trainers; area names
now match the Kanto map (west of Celadon is Route 16); holding B only runs after Mom gives you the Running Shoes.
    Saves from v1.2.1 / v1.2.0 keep working.
  - v1.2.1: Episode 7 Cerulean remade; fixed the screen gradually fading to black (outdoor healers,
the Gringey City hot spring, entering houses); fixed AJ's training tent that you couldn't leave.
    Saves from v1.2.0 keep working.
  - Saves from v1.1.0 and earlier do not work (start a new game).

THIS VERSION ENDS IN KANTO
--------------------------
The hot-air balloon, the harbor and Prof. Oak only hint at the Orange Islands for now.
Lapras and the Orange Islands episodes (Season 2) will come in a later update. All 151 Kanto Pokémon
(except Lapras) can be caught or received.

HM TOOLS & WHERE TO GET THE HMs
-------------------------------
Axe (cut trees) : the S.S. Anne Captain (Episode 15), together with HM01. If you miss the ship,
the rescue sailor at the harbor gives it to you.
Raft (cross water) : the old man on Cinnabar Island, needs the Volcano Badge. Before that, Surf with a Pokémon.
Pickaxe (smash rocks) : Gary in Grampa Canyon (Episode 46).
Bicycle : you start with the Bike Voucher; trade it at the Cerulean bike shop.
  HM01 Cut : the S.S. Anne Captain.
HM02 Fly : the Pidgeot girl behind the cuttable tree on Route 22.
HM03 Surf : Kaiser in the Safari Zone, end of Episode 35.
HM04 Strength : Koga, together with the Soul Badge.
HM05 Flash : Prof. Oak's aide in the gatehouse east of Route 2 (catch 10 species first).
HM06 Rock Smash : Gary, together with the Pickaxe (Episode 46).
HM07 Waterfall : an item ball on Victory Road.
(HM moves are for battle; trees, rocks and water on the map use the tools above.)

WHAT IS THIS?
-------------
The story follows the anime instead of the original game:
  - Ash oversleeps, shows up late at Prof. Oak's lab and gets the last Poké Ball: Pikachu.
  - Route 1: the Spearow flock in the rain, Pikachu's ThunderShock, Ho-Oh over the rainbow and Misty's fried bike.
  - Every episode is a real cutscene: characters and Pokémon walk, run and fly in and out of the screen, with
lightning, rain, storm and flash effects.
  - All the way from Episode 1 to Episode 82: 8 Gyms, the Indigo League… and Ash loses to Ritchie because Charizard
won't fight, just like the anime. Includes the banned episodes (Beauty and the Beach, The Legend of Dratini,
Electric Soldier Porygon) and the First Movie on New Island.
  - Wild Pokémon are VISIBLE on the map like Let's Go Pikachu. Switch it off in Options > Encounters: Show | Random.
  - Only the 151 Kanto Pokémon. Gift and event Pokémon have max IVs, good EVs and a competitive nature.
Ash's Pokémon are always male, like in the anime. Special Pokémon can be received only once.
  - Auto Run option (hold B to walk), a Bicycle, and Pikachu following you around.

VERSION HISTORY
---------------
v1.2.2 (06/11/2026) - bug-fix update
  - Fixed: Underground Path below Gringey City - at the turn from the north-south tunnel into the east-west tunnel
your character froze and the menu would not open.
  - Fixed: entering Nastina's house (the colorful house in Porta Vista, Route 6) garbled the screen and crashed the game.
  - Fixed: the Cycling Road gate (Route 19) - the guard said you need a bike even while you were riding one.
  - Restored the two restaurants on the Porta Vista pier (Route 6): Moe's and Brutella's. Walking in used to push you
right back outside. Help Moe win customers from Brutella to get a Big Pearl and an Itemfinder; Prof. Oak and Ash's
    mom are there too.
  - Restored the Sunny Town Pokémon Center (Route 19), which also pushed you back out. Bring the Poké Medicine from the
Fuchsia nurse here and you get to keep the Bicycle.
  - Fixed item names/descriptions in the Bag: Raft (was "Watering Can"), Pickaxe ("Scanner"), Tasty Donut ("Lava Cookie"),
Super Potion ("Ruby"), Neo Ticket ("Eon Ticket").
  - Fixed: some story NPCs (Misty and Psyduck at the Cerulean Center, Suzy's shop, the Grampa Canyon scene...) appearing or
disappearing after beating certain trainers or visiting certain towns. Old saves are converted automatically.
  - Fixed the area names shown when you enter a map to match the Kanto map: west of Celadon is Route 16 (it used to
say Route 13), west of Viridian Route 22, north of Cerulean Routes 24 and 25, east of Vermilion Route 11, around
Fuchsia Routes 17/18/19/20, Pallet to Cinnabar Route 21, the Mt. Hideaway area Route 23. Signs mentioning route
    numbers were fixed to match.
  - Holding B only lets you run after Mom gives you the Running Shoes (you used to be able to run from the very start).
  - Saves from v1.2.1 / v1.2.0 keep working.

v1.2.1 (05/11/2026) - bug-fix update
  - Episode 7 Cerulean remade after the anime: entering the city you meet Officer Jenny investigating a break-in (the
thieves only took a vacuum and a giant hose); Brock flirts with Jenny, and Misty walks off when the Gym comes up.
The three sisters say they just lost three times in a row to kids from Pallet and offer you the Cascade Badge for
free (Yes/No); Misty shows up and calls herself the fourth sister. Pikachu refuses to battle Misty and sits that
battle out (if Pikachu is your only Pokémon, go catch more and come back). Team Rocket burst in with the very
vacuum they stole, Misty heals Ash's Pokémon, and Pikachu is back for the Team Rocket battle.
  - Fix: the screen gradually faded to black after talking to an outdoor healer, bathing in a hot spring or other
fade-out/fade-in scenes, at night and in gloomy places like Gringey City; houses then stayed dark too.
  - Fix: the Gringey City hot spring healed you again on every step (the screen kept fading as if stuck). Now you
bathe once; climb the steps and come back down to bathe again.
  - Fix: you couldn't leave AJ's training tent (Route 24).
  - Opening screens now match the Vietnamese edition: the game goes straight to the TekCafe.vn credit screen
(re-released 05/11/2026; same content and saves otherwise).
  - Fossils: the fossil revival machine on Cinnabar was removed (it never worked). Omanyte and Kabuto are caught in
Grampa Canyon; the one and only Aerodactyl is at the edge of Grampa Canyon. The Cinnabar scientist has new lines.

v1.2.0 (05/11/2026)
  - Kanto map rebuilt to match the anime; the story is rewritten episode by episode, each episode a cutscene with
moving characters and electric/rain/flash effects. Every story battle has a win and a lose branch; your choices
    only change the dialogue.
  - Episode 5 Pewter: Flint sells rocks at the start of Route 2; lose to Brock and Flint takes you to the hydro plant
to charge Pikachu, then the rematch with the sprinklers; win and Flint admits he is Brock's father and takes over
    the Gym.
  - Episode 13: catch Krabby yourself below Bill's lighthouse (with a full party it goes to Prof. Oak), video call
    with Prof. Oak.
  - Episode 24: Sabrina's dollhouse; Haunter stays with Sabrina.
  - Episodes 26-31: Erika and the burning Gym, Hypno hypnotizes the town (Psyduck jumps into Misty's Poké Ball),
the Salon, the P1 Grand Prix with Meowth's bomb, the Gringey City blackout (Muk battle, receive Muk once),
the Diglett planting forests (receive Soft Sand).
  - Episodes 46-57 rewritten; new Episodes 60, 61, 62, 66, 68-73; Episode 74 League torch relay and Moltres;
the Indigo League ends with the loss to Ritchie like the anime (with its own win branch); the First Movie on
    New Island.
  - HM01-HM07 obtainable in Kanto; the S.S. Anne Captain gives the Axe with HM01.
  - S.S. Anne: Dig/Escape Rope take you back to Vermilion Harbor; lose on board and you rest right there.
  - The scientist in the Viridian Pokémon Center gives you the DexNav; trainer names show up when a battle starts;
enemy Pokémon no longer float; the title screen shows the version number and PRESS START.
  - Giant Pokémon island: Teleport/Fly/Dig/Escape Rope don't work (stranded like the anime); lose and you rest on
the spot; return to the mainland on the island staff's boat.
  - Fake Day Care (Episode 57): Pokémon you leave there are held by Cassidy and Butch until you beat them in the
basement. Pokémon you leave with Prof. Oak go to the PC.
  - Pokémon League entrance exam: the borrowed team only counts as "seen" in the Pokédex.
  - Officer Jenny has her own "Officer" trainer class.
  - Wild Pokémon: Kanto species only, placed after the anime and the games (no Sandshrew on Route 1; Golduck only
    by evolution).
  - Legendaries: Articuno at the North Pole, Zapdos at the Power Plant, Moltres on the mountain near Indigo Plateau,
Mewtwo and Mew after you become Champion; Porygon is a gift at a Pokémon Center.
  - Auto Run option (hold B to walk), Bicycle, Pikachu following you.

v1.1.0 (01/11/2026) - first English edition
  - Wild Pokémon visible on the map (Let's Go style) on every Kanto route, forest and cave; touch one to battle.
New option "Encounters: Show | Random".
  - Episode 1 rain storm and Ho-Oh; Viridian Forest cutscene (Caterpie, Pidgeotto, Team Rocket Double Battle);
Cerulean Gym Double Battle against Jessie & James.

v1.0 - v1.0.9 (28-30/10/2026) - Vietnamese-only releases.
